Caltherm thermostat is individually calibrated to ensure proper stroke and
temperature response.
B Stainless steel sleeve out-lasts competition's plated brass sleeve. Resists corrosion and wear C Lapped sleeve edge to assure extremely low leak performance. D Lapped valve seat surface to assure extremely low leak performance. E In-house wax blending to assure O.E.M. specified stroke and flow characteristic for optimum engine performance. F Unobstructed wax actuator design extends into coolant flow to provide superior cooling response time. G Rugged diaphragm style actuator - the highest quality actuator design available for extended life and superior performance. |
H Specially
designed stainless steel valve seat.
I Self-cleaning design allows cooling system contaminants to flush themselves through closing surfaces. Weir-style thermostats can trap these contaminants and create leak problems. J Heavy duty spring to assure low leak performance . K Welded connection for durability and assured calibration (vs. nut and thread construction used by others).
